Bevelight

Privacy Policy

Effective 31 October 2026

Bevelight does not collect, store or share any personal data. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It does not connect to any server run by us or by anyone else.

Location

If you use Show Tonight's Sky, Bevelight asks for your location one time. It uses your location only on your iPhone, to work out which stars are overhead. The app stops location updates as soon as it has one reading. Your location is never sent off your device. You can turn location access off at any time in Settings.

Photos

Bevelight asks for add-only access to Photos, so it can save the wallpapers you make. It cannot see, read or change the photos already in your library.

Data on your device

Your saved looks and settings stay on your iPhone, inside the app and its Control Center control. Deleting the app deletes them.

Shortcuts, Siri and Spotlight

Bevelight offers actions to Shortcuts and Siri, and lists your saved looks in Spotlight. Apple handles these features on your device under Apple's own privacy policy. Bevelight sends nothing to us through them.

Children

Bevelight collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
